ARISING LIGHT is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that exists as a local church and a global outreach.  Although we teach Biblical principles for giving and have a place in our sanctuary for offerings, we do not pass a plate or bowl during our services.  This is because of the over-emphasis placed on physical wealth in so much of the modern church, and the abuses that have occurred when money-loving leaders have manipulated people into giving for the wrong reasons.  Just as the apostle Paul was Biblically entitled to remuneration but did not require it because he didn’t want anything to hinder the impact of his work (see 1 Corinthians 9:3-18), the leadership of ARISING LIGHT has opted to do the same, requiring no personal compensation for their work.  As for church expenses, we trust that people will faithfully give without reminder or compulsion in order to meet the needs of this life-changing ministry.

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”  (2 Corinthians 9:7-8, NKJV)

In that light, we gratefully accept all voluntary donations and wholeheartedly believe that God indeed blesses those who give!

We use DigiGiv, a secure third-party portal, for the convenience of those who wish to donate online through this website.  DigiGiv is powered by CardPointe, a company that adheres to strict guidelines and protocol for online payment processing in order to ensure safety in financial transactions over the web.  None of your credit card or banking information will ever be seen by us.  DigiGiv does require you to set up an account with them in order to use their portal, but this is also 100% secure and private, and it will contain a record of your giving transactions.  The interface is very clean and the portal is very easy to use.  Just click the yellow button below to access it.
