In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded His followers to "make disciples of all nations.”  A disciple is more than a convert.  Since this directive from the Lord is non-negotiable, ARISING LIGHT offers discipleship classes to all believers who take God seriously.  Have you been discipled according to Biblical standards?  This isn't discipleship according to religion, tradition, or denomination, but according to the will of God, who requires His teachers to take responsibility for helping other believers to closely follow Him and become effective Christians in word and deed.  As the apostle Paul put it in 1 Corinthians 11:1, "Imitate me, as I imitate Christ."  Participation is voluntary, and the teaching is done in a spirit of love and encouragement.  Working together, we can fulfill the Great Commission in our lifetime!

Evangelist Henry Boyens, the co-founder of ARISING LIGHT, has written two discipleship courses titled "LOGOS ONE: Starting Anew as an Overcomer" and "LOGOS TWO: The Missing Piece - Discipleship."  We have offered these training modules at ARISING LIGHT as multi-week Bible studies.  There is no charge for materials or attendance, and the graduates of each class receive a special certificate of completion (see sample images below).  Both courses are currently being prepared for a second publication, and we hope to present them again in the near future!
